Thailand is also home to many mixed-breed dogs, often referred to as “soi dogs,” which means “street dogs” in Thai. These dogs are a common sight in cities and rural areas alike, and they play an important role in the ecosystem by controlling the population of pests like rodents. While they may not have the pedigree of purebred dogs, soi dogs are often very intelligent, resourceful, and capable of forming strong bonds with humans.
